Lakeville Luxe stands out with its purposeful integration of oriental aesthetics into contemporary living spaces. By incorporating the concept of an oriental garden, the design allows residents to experience changing scenery as they move through the space. The foyer promenade, for example, extends inward, with a whole acrylic wall embedded in a light belt. This creates a sense of extension and imagination in the narrow corridor, transforming it into an expected space.
The grayscale color palette used throughout the design adds a touch of fantasy, turning an otherwise mundane entrance into a captivating experience. Lakeville Luxe covers an area of 578 square meters, providing ample room for residents to immerse themselves in the unique ambiance created by the fusion of modern and oriental elements.
One of the notable features of Lakeville Luxe is the outdoor encircling-furnace, which serves as an extension of the indoor atmosphere. This integration of indoor and outdoor spaces enhances the overall living experience and blurs the boundaries between nature and the built environment.
Located in the heart of Shanghai's Xintiandi district, Lakeville Luxe was completed in May 2018. The design pays homage to the history of the French concession while embracing contemporary interpretations of oriental concepts. From the moment one enters the space, they are transported through time, with elements like an old rattan chair from Paris resonating with the past and present.
Lakeville Luxe has been recognized for its outstanding design with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life. Lakeville Luxe truly exemplifies the harmonious integration of art, science, design, and technology, making it a remarkable addition to the world of modern living.
